Thousands of musicians around the world take advantage of this group, which puts people who love music together. The Twin Cities chapter of JPF won the prestigious JPF Founders Award in 2000 for Chapter of the Year.
In 2001, showcases will be presented on the second Thursday of each month at the Dunn Brothers Freight House coffeehouse near the Milwaukee Station terminal at 7:30 pm. Any member can arrange to perform there and/or sell his/her CDs. Performances are free and open to the public.
On the last Tuesday of each month, JPF members gather to play in a round-robin song circle and discuss things musical at 7:30 pm. Locations vary.
