Interlude is an online music community consisting of independent artists and various persons who support those independent artists. The goal of Interlude is to bring these people together and provide a marketplace as well as a forum that empowers all parties involved.
The marketplace we have created is unique because it allows the artists to sell their music on their own terms. By choosing the selling price of the album, the content to offer as a free preview of the album, and giving input regarding how Interlude presents the artist on its site, each Interlude artist is able to participate in creating a marketplace that reflects the convictions of the independent music community as a whole.
The Interlude marketplace is also unique because it is the only one to offer downloads in multiple formats and offer a digital booklet with every purchase. We do this while keeping our pricing competitive and passing along a fair share to the artist.
