Striving to create a recording-centered band, Steve Eagan and Marshall Ricks started Cartoon Graveyard in 2006, after several years in their deservedly unrecognized high school band The Branches. Being used to recording more than they practiced, Steve and Marshall kept making albums for their own delight before settling on the Cartoon Graveyard moniker. The Rest of Your Best EP was completed in early 2007, with many more in the works. Maybe someday they'll find a drummer and play some live shows... also known as concerts before shows became the cool way to describe live musical performances, but for now, just pop on your headphones, sit back and enjoy all the quasi-effort it took to make those overdubbed keyboard sounds move through the stereo spectrum from one ear to the other.
