The City of Lakes chorus has been dazzling audiences in the Minneapolis / St. Paul metro area and around the country since 1952 as a part of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide organization of over 30,000 women.

We are an award winning chorus of over 100 voices with a long history of excellence. We've placed 1st in every Regional competition in which we've taken part since 1967, and have placed in the top 8 finalists in 14 of the 15 International Competitions we've gone to since 1971. The chorus has entertained around our region at many functions, including the 1985 All-Star Baseball game, the 1990 Olympic Festival, the 1991 International Special Olympics, Holiday celebrations, Business, charity and civic events.

We perform music in the Barbershop style – an a cappella style that has three parts harmonizing to a singable melody. Of course, we love to sing songs from other musical styles including contemporary, Broadway, jazz, swing, vaudeville, patriotic and gospel, but what we love the most is that good, old Barbershop harmony!
