Brutus Gets The Girl was started by Silvano Barba. After leaving a local favorite band Simontronic, joined by his sister Marisol Barba on keyboards/vocals, Mike Delgado on drums, and Joe Spelman on synth/sequencer they started Brutus Gets The Girl in the start of 2003. They have a small but growing following after playing for the past year all around L.A. There music is a mix of dream like melodies with soft vocals, with distorted echos of guitars. The music as well as the lyrics stay engraved in your mind.
